James Richardson

Co-founder & Lawyer

James is a highly experienced solicitor and author. He trained and qualified at major transatlantic firm Hogan Lovells. After a few years in their Commercial Litigation and Insurance team, James moved to the City to work as an underwriter on M&A deals. James also founded and ran Law Answered for a decade, where he wrote or co-wrote 42 different books for law students across the spectrum of graduate and postgraduate law courses. He now is Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance at a motor insurtech scaleup called Cuvva, which he joined as first in-house counsel shortly after their Series A fundraise.

Jake Schogger

Jake Schogger is a qualified lawyer, career coach, entrepreneur, author, copywriter and consultant. He is the founder and CEO of City Career Series, a publishing company that has sold ~50,000 handbooks designed to help students secure City careers, including the critically acclaimed Commercial Law Handbook and Training Contract Handbook. He also founded Commercial Law Academy.
